How it works

View

The report of study requirements is build to enable you to document study requirements very quickly and easily, even with large numbers of participants.

Please note:

  • Each student can only complete one study requirement per course, which is why students "disappear" from this list as soon as you have registered a corresponding academic achievement for him or her.
  • In the web form, you will only be offered draft assessments for those students for whom a booking is planned. This depends on the opening of the course in the electronic course catalogue (ekvv) ("Which forms of coursework are planned?") and the student's enrolment.
  • ERASMUS students have the option of booking "Completed" as an academic achievement. You will find the option to book "Completed" in a separate section under study requirements / credits. Information for booking can be found on this page: "Academic achievements outside BA/MA"

When you visit the page for a course for the first time, you will be shown a list of all students registered for your course. This list is divided into three blocks, depending on the type of course the student is enrolled in.

In the left-hand column, you will find tick boxes that you can use to select individual students on your list. If you use participation management for your course, it is used at this point to pre-select the participants; you will then only see the students you have marked as "participating".

When you call up the page, all students are automatically selected, but you can also deselect all students by clicking in the header.

Report study requierements for students who are not on the participation list

The reporting page can only take into account students who are on the course participation list. As this is based on the students' timetables, you should inform the students that they should include your course in their timetable.

If individual students are not on the attendance list, but you still need to book academic achievements for them, you can add them via the attendance management system. You will find a link to this electronic course catalogue (ekvv) function, e.g. in the box at the top right of the page. If participation management has not yet been activated for your course, you must do this first. As soon as you have added the students, they will also appear on the booking page so that you can continue with the registration.

Excursus: Dealing with "calling names" on the list

Students have the option of using a name in the IT systems that differs from their ID card name. This is intended in particular to enable TIN people ('''T'''rans, '''i'''nter and '''n'''ichtbinäre Personen) to participate in everyday student life without having to publish their filed name that does not match their identity. This option is also used by staff, people who, for example, only have part of a double name or a common "nickname" as their name.

The nickname is then displayed on participation lists, in Zoom and in the learning platforms, but NOT in the context of course bookings, as these become part of the official final documentation. It is therefore possible that you will be shown the first name of students on the performance list that you do not recognise from the participation list. For any communication with the examination office, the matriculation number is then the most important tool for uniquely identifying these students. Colleagues in the examination office will be displayed both the ID card name and the first name.
